Big Sister VS. Little Sister

‘Oldest child syndrome’, ‘middle child syndrome’, ‘youngest child syndrome’; whatever you want to call it- we’re all stereotypes of our birth order. My sister and I have a bi-polar relationship. One minute we’ll be on the phone laughing and excited to see each other. Then I see her walking up to me wearing my favourite jeans and the storm clouds roll in. Apparently I make her mad too. That’s news to me because as far as I’m concerned, I’m always respectable, responsible and overall a perfect role model. Wait. Inside The Mind of a Dieting Foodie

Have you ever met the kind of people who say, “I was so busy today, I forgot to eat lunch!” Oh hell no! Bitch, I could be 2 minutes away from NASA blasting me off to the moon and I’ll still make time to eat a good meal. In 25 years, I have never just “forgotten to eat” and quite frankly, I can’t surround myself with that kind of negativity.

However, let me paint you a picture about what MY clubbing reality is… Continue reading

I pose to you the ultimate first world problem: Selfies are ruining us!

Wait, let me explain before you finish that eye roll…

Selfies. All those selfies. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love a good selfie. There are many uses for them! For example, if you want to send out a little reminder to a certain someone about how delicious you look from that great angle with the amazing lighting, 78% contrast, 56% brightness, 3 layers of makeup, skin blur and ‘Walden’ filter. Those overly edited selfies look so beautiful, yet are warping our senses of reality. Still sounding stupid? Ok, ok, stay with me… Continue reading
