15 Mindset Mantras For The New Year

Ahhhh, a fresh new year, a chance to self reflect and try to rejuvenate our attitudes. And why not! We are too busy to self reflect half as much as we should and that’s why the majority of us are bitches, let’s be honest.

I could write 1500 mindset mantras, but I’ll stick with just 15 for now. I’ve learnt some lessons post 2018 that I’m putting to good use this year!

1) Don’t over think things. I’m fabulous, capable, and my worth doesn’t depend on what others think of me. I’m going to be kinder to myself, especially at times when others are not or when my brain starts to self doubt.

2) Be positive. “This is not a ‘problem’, this is a challenge designed to give me a wake up call and make me an even more fabulous human.”

3) Pick your battles. Decide what is important to be angry about and what needs to be discarded from your mind. Also, really think if fighting other people’s battles are worth it. Pick those battles-and who you fight for -wisely.

4) No more diets. Just eat normally, don’t overeat, eat whole grain carbs and stay away from sugar. I’m a genius!!

5) Be my own best friend. On my bucket list is to take myself to a movie, or to the beach alone. I refuse to let myself become one of those people that can never be alone. *shudder.*

6) Go on more holidays. Like I’m talking random weekend road trips, last minute holidays and fearless bookings.

7) Keep living a minimal lifestyle. Don’t get sucked into only wearing brand names, buying for the sake of it or needing to have it all. Consumerism, money and having a lot to show does not equal happiness.

8) Let them judge and keep doing your thing unbothered.

9) Do more community service. Be proactive, don’t just think it.

10) Have more self discipline.

11) Make time for MY hobbies such as writing for Soul Fitness ❤️

12) Be brave, be brave, be brave. Repeat this to myself when I’m scared or nervous, sit up straight and get it done because I can.

13) Have faith and keep praying every night.

14) Be more social…..I suppose…..hehe

15) Stop complaining.

What other reminders for yourself do you have?

Lots of love,

Magda xx
