8.44am– My hands are freezing! I can barely type. I’m taking just a couple quick minutes to start today’s blog off, before I have to go cover someone’s class. So I woke up, checked my phone, watched some vlogs on YouTube and made the yummiest breakfast ever-fetta and avocado on toast! But I’m hungry again. Ofcourse. #FoodIsLife. No Magda, control your animal urges.
So yes, I got ready for work. My pimple friends are disappearing and my hair kind of worked with me. I’m glad we could all be friends today. Just for the record, I’m in another turtleneck. I appreciate a good turtleneck, you know. It’s a bit hit and miss-as we discovered yesterday, but you’ve got to own your mistakes! Anyway, I’m sure you came here to read about more than turtlenecks…So, I’ll catch up with you later, when maybe, just maybe, I’ll have something to write about.
WAIT! FYI- I topped up my petrol today. Turns out, not even I can go more than three hours worth of driving on my petrol light. Damn.
9.45am– Hello! Nope, nothing special to talk about. I’m still turtle-ing my way through life in my turtleneck. I’ve had a coffee though and one of my oat cookies, so I’m sure I now look more approachable than normal. Probably not, though. #RestingBitchFaceForever
12.50pm– Is it 3.10 yet? I messaged my sister earlier asking if she wanted to hang out this afternoon and she replied with, “that’s suspicious.” I think that’s a yes. Also, my tummy is feeling very satisfied after some pumpkin soup and salad! There’s nothing like some soup on a cold day, am I right? Oh my goodness, my blog is about turtlenecks and soup-how old am I really?
4.30pm– Well well well. Such an exciting day! Not! So, in the afternoon, I had the class that normally jumps out from under the desks yelling “Surprise!” I was waiting for them in class and they complained that they couldn’t surprise me today. Next week, I guess I’ll just wait around the corner for them to hide and then I’ll go in. Also, only two of them did their homework, as per usual. Apparently a week to practice 5 spelling words is not enough time for the poor things. #TeacherLife
I’m so angry this week! I guess when it rains, it pours. I definitely needed a good debrief with my sister where I could openly just whinge and whinge about people and situations haha.
We talked about how we always used to make sure to smile at everyone, be super nice and go out of our way for everyone. Now, not so much. I don’t believe that I need to be friends with everyone anymore. Also, check out what we ordered, haha.
My sister is one of those people that will always make time for you and always listen to you. We live together but we often go out for a meal or a coffee together after school. (We’re both teachers.) Usually when she picks me up, I’m agitated and angry looking and then by the time we get home, I’m relaxed and happy again. Today was no different. I’m lucky to have a relationship like that with her!
7pm– So, I’ve showered and now I’m writing this, with my new amazing heater on
. (Air-drying in my towel, because I’m that lazy.) So anyway back to the amazing heater. It’s electric but it looks like a little fireplace! It’s the perfect size for a bedroom. Check it out! Harvey Norman everyone, you’re welcome.
What else can I tell you before I wrap this up…Well, after this, I’m going to actually get dressed, I guess. Then I’ll post this, tidy up a bit, give my mum and grandma a cuddle and probably watch Geordie Shore. I know what you’re thinking, “Magda, why would a genius such as yourself want to waste her brain on such filth?” Because, putting a bunch of idiots in a house together is pretty fun to watch, that’s why. Then, I may have a before bed phone chat with the ‘old mate’ who had to cop my anger. He said “are you angry?” and I said “no” and he knew that I actually meant “ YES, OF COURSE I’M AAAANGRYYYYY!!!!” Guys, I think I may need anger management classes, or a new job.
So that’s it for today! Please leave me a comment and tell me about your day! I love hearing from you guys!
Oh, can’t forget about today’s lesson. Ahem, get ready grasshoppers:
You don’t have to be friends with everyone. You have every right to pick and choose who you want to surround yourselves with.
Sweet dreams and lots of love,
Magda xx
Amazing always, keep them coming xx
